Fruit Cocktail Torte (doubled)


2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs (beaten)
1 (lg) can fruit cocktail


Sift dry ingredients together. Add eggs and fruit. Put in pan. Sprinkle mix of ¾ cup brown sugar and ½ cup nuts on cake. Bake at 350° about an hour.
